Go ahead and get the thong
Don't bother. They wrecked the old, favorite design, as is the way in a greedy, consumerist culture. No structure to the new brief and they ride up. Miserable for an active person. Truly disappointing for someone who used to only wear ex officio underwear. Adios.

Great purchase
Love these underwear. I’ve been searching for active underwear that don’t give me wedgies or dig into my pubic area while hiking and biking. These are the ones, can’t tell I am wearing anything. Highly recommend!!

I’d buy them again.
I hadn’t bought these for several years. These are what I remember, but even softer. They fit well without riding up. They’re great for hiking and they are easy to hand wash and dry while traveling.

Best I've Found
I have worn ex officio underwear for years and continue to prefer them over other brands I've tried. They are quick drying, long lasting and fit me perfectly. I line dry whether necessary or not which may be partly why my older ones have lasted well over 10 years.

The only undies I wear
I ordered 6 pair and have washed and worn them several times already. I purchased them to replace my old batch that was probably 5 years old. I love them and am planning to purchase another several pair. They are fantastic to travel with, last forever, dry quickly and don't hold odor if you change them every day. I like the new colors in red and navy. Highly recommend!

Too High in Back
As other reviewers have mentioned, material is nice, lightweight, breathable, doesn’t rub. Unfortunately, the back is far too high - often above regular yoga/hiking pants. I find myself folding them down - but hope Exificio will aim for better design - as I’m not the first to report this.
I also got XLs - and am 5’7” 190 lbs wearing size 14/16 pants in most brands - and wish I had tried Ls - as material seems excessive and rides up a bit with XLs.
All-in-all, good material and feel - design needs some work.
