Rated 4 out of 5 by from One plus, but one negative These arrived late, so not in time for the trip I had purchased them for. They are a bit different from other versions I own. An improvement is that the size tag is now easily removed, so no more scratchy tag. However one thing is worse, and that is the elastic on the legs is now looser than before so that these bikini briefs do not stay put in the way that older pairs I own do. Since they arrived too late for my last trip, I'll have to wait for the next one to determine how big a deal that is on a day-to-day basis, and will update my review at that time.

The new ones are made with a thinner material that looses shape by mid day and creeps up (does not stay in place as the panties purchased in the past).

However, my most recent purchase is sized differently than those I purchased several years ago - the new ones are loose in the leg openings so they ride up too easily and also end up with the waistband riding up above my slacks waist. The old ones are still going strong and I prefer their fit.

When I opened the package for packing I was immediately disappointed. The waist band is very thin compared to my other briefs. It appears that the “redesign” was made for cost savings and not improved comfort. I will be returning as soon as I return from vacation.

It doesn’t seem like to much to ask, especially for underwear meant to be worn during hiking or sports. Going up a size doesn’t solve the problem because then the waistband is too loose.

I did not need to do that - I think ordering "on size" would have meant a perfect fit, but these will still work! (better a little too big than a little too small!)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why the redesign? Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviewers about this redesign. I have worn this underwear for years for everyday and for hiking. I was so bummed about this redesign. The previous version was so great. This new version is off- the elastic is too narrow and the fabric is too thin. I will wear the ones I bought but I will not be purchasing these in the future unless the design is changed. Too bad, they were perfect before they were messed with.

The elastic around the legs are so loose that the panties do not stay in place, but keep riding up until they are very uncomfortable. I cannot return them because I washed them before I wore them, and I had to wear them to know there was a problem. Too bad this product has changed so much.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changed for the worse I have worn these bikini underwear for 10+ years and always loved them. I just ordered 10 more pair on a recent sale. Unfortunately I took the tags off and washed them without examining/trying them on first. They are sized weird and the elastic is useless so they creep up immediately. Plus there is no seam in the front of the crotch, just fabric that comes to a loose end like in a swimming suit. Not great if you wear a panty liner. I compared them in size to my previous ones and the waist band is significantly wider but also sits lower and the elastic doesn't hold it in place so they kept sliding down. Also less width in the crotch area. The fabric is thinner and less stretchy too. Very disappointing. These will go in the donation bin. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price. Now I need to find a new brand which is sad as I've been a very loyal customer.
