Beat the heat with mesh leg panels for enhanced breathability and built-in UPF-45 sun protection. Roll-up snaps and indestructible buttons keep your pants where you want them. Two back pockets, two front pockets—including a zippered right security pocket—and a zippered thigh pocket organize your essentials. When your adventure is over, these packable pants stuff into their own right front pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to pants Mosquitoes and biting insects love me. This is my 4th pair of Sandfly pants. They were my go-to choice for walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain when every ounce counts because you are carrying everything. These are the lightest weight of all my performance slacks and I love the deep pockets in front. On the Camino you are walking through cities and countryside and you never know when you are going to encounter mosquitoes. I never got bitten when I wore these slacks. When it gets hot, you roll up the bottom and snap them in place so they are about the length of capris or what a friend of ours calls "man pants". The airflow vents are always letting the heat escape in hot weather but I don't every remember them letting in the cold when the temperature got down to the high 30's in the morning. I thought the horizontal vents along the inside of the leg might let in mosquito bites but this never happened. I keep 2 pairs in Spain and 2 pairs in the US.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wore 1500 miles on the PCT Great at stopping mosquitoes. They can only penetrate the mesh on the inner leg, a rare occurrence. But the tradeoff is these are not very breathable. On hot sunny days I'd switch to shorts otherwise my legs would be saturated in sweat. I will gladly carry these in my pack again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ventilation baby! I love these pants - lightweight, ventilated (as I tend to run hot), super comfy, plenty of well- thought pockets. These are the only pants I wear now in the summer and pretty much any time but winter. Highly recommend!
