Perfect travel shirt
I am traveling a lot , both for business and pleasure, and this is my favorite travel shirt for the last 20 years. I own 7 or 8 such shirts of a different color, ant i find it the most useful and universal item in my travel bag. The shirt is lightweight, durable, has excellent ventilation, large pockets (one zipped) that can hold documents (or even a wallet).
The shirt is easily washed and quickly dries, can be very comfortable on a track and looks presentable at a conference. Please find below several images demonstrating

Stays Wrinkled Unless Pressed
This was the first Exofficio shirt I purchased for my husband. It is designed nicely and fit well. However, it must be pressed secondary to wrinkles post washing on permanent press - tumbling dry for only a few minutes and then hung to dry.
We have purchased several Royal Robbins shirts with similar attributes (SPF, Bug Away, Vented Areas, Pockets) and they launder beautifully! Never need ironing. I realize that clothing is often manufactured in different countries with possibly various fabrics, but I would not purchase again.

Shirt Cut Changed?
I have several Air Strip Shirts from before and they are very comfortable. The new one in the same size I have is much tighter and seems almost fitted. May not be able to wear this. Hoping that the fabric will relax and I can wear this. Dismayed with Ex-Officio’s move to fitted shirts that don’t allow the freedom of movement for casting.

The best ventilated shirt
I own a lot of UPF long sleeve shirts for a medical condition. This is by far the lightest and best ventilated shirt of the bunch. Would like smaller non pleated pockets that blend in nicer, but the fabric and ventilation can't be beat.

Best Guide Shirt
This is the lightest and longest wearing shirt I have ever owned. I am a salt-water fly fishing guide and have used this model shirt for 20 years. Just wore out the first 3 bought 20 years ago. I live and fish in the sub tropics with high humidity. This shirt lets air circulate around your body making the heat and humidity a much smaller factor.

Great ventilation
Very airy. Loved all the ventilation but wish this one would also come with bugs away shield. Recommend guys and gals get this one since there doesn't seem to be a women's cut equivalent. Worked well even backpacking since the side vents let air through when the back vents were blocked.

You have only improved it.
I purchased one of the first airstrip fishing shirts produced. So long ago 15 to 20 years ago, so long I can’t remember.
What I do remember is that I loved that shirt and I still have it and it still looks great.
I have also purchased many more since then. Great colors and fabrics. You have only improved it. No fancy changes that most companies make usually have negative results. Not you folks. Love your products and your improvements.

Best travel and hiking shirt
I have been wearing the air strip shirts for the last five years. I have some of the original models to the most recent. The shirt looks great with a pair of jeans around town or on the trail. This is my go to shirt for my business trips to El Salvador and Nicaragua keeping me cool and looing professional. What I like best are the small "air" strips on the sides and small vent back that provide circulation. The material dries quickly and roll up sleeves work great.

A Great Shirt
My husband almost never buys new clothes. He already has 2 of this same shirt and probably bought them 8 years ago. He really likes the style and comfort of the shirt and I like the casual yet sophisticated look. When he asked if I could find another shirt like the 8 year old shirt I jumped right on the search. I went directly to Exofficio and looked for the exact same style as his 8 year old shirts and immediately ordered 2, one in rust and the other in cream.
To be honest I thought the rust one looked very red on the website but when it arrived it was a very good rust color.
