Good hiking socks
These are perhaps a bit tight, but they do the trick for hiking and camping. The bug repellent feature seems to work very well - I always wear these when I know I'll be in the woods or anywhere else where ticks are!

Alergiac reaction?
Something in the elastic and the repellent caused welts on my calves. Rolling the socks offered some relief so I still had socks on the trip.

Too heavy
These may work great, but they are heavy wool Sox. Not appropriate for hot summer bug filled days or nights. If it’s this cold, bugs aren’t a problem.

Cuff too tight
I like that socks repel bugs. But they’re too tight on cuff, pill too much on ankle/foot area, look worn after 2 washes.
