Comfy in hot and cold temps
Hubby found Ex Officio briefs at REI several years ago and they lasted a long time. Comfy in African safari heat and Canadian Lake Louise 0 degree cold. It came time to replace them and we discovered the briefs are no longer available via REI. We’re super happy to find these still available from Ex O directly. Order arrived in a timely manner for Christmas and were a happy surprise.

Not for me
The new design offers no support. It’s too stretchy for me. I will not buy anymore

What I need
They fit and look to be exactly what I need. I spend a number of weeks every year in other countries for work and holidays from tropical to temperate. I am looking forward to taking these undies with me on my next trip.

Loose briefs not much support
I really like this brand, I have the boxer briefs but I wanted some more support so I went with these briefs. These briefs fit very loose with no support. These briefs should be labeled as high rise. I had to return these

Leg holes a bit big
Separating my package from my legs is the whole point of wearing skivvies. I’m quite fit, and the leg holes on these size smalls are a little too big to perform this function.

Nice fabric, poor design
I am sorry they no longer make and sell the sport version of this brief. It's too big and baggy.

I bought 8 pairs of these underwear when I deployed to Iraq in 2009. Since then I haven’t worn any other brand of underwear. They have stayed up to the test in time in quality. If I had a pair that the elastic band deteriorated Exofficio would replaced them. Best undergarment I have ever owned. Great wicking fabric.

Just what I wanted
The briefs are just what I wanted, but the shipping admin was confused. There was a shipping delay that pushed the delivery date past my departure on the trip that I wanted to use them on. Because of this, ExOfficio credited my card with the full amount of the purchase. Thank you.
Then the briefs arrived on the original schedule. No need for the credit.

Failed Elastic
I purchased two biefs to use on a tripto Ireland. The first time I hand washed one of the briefs, the water turned really dark brown. When the briefs dried, there was no elastic tension in the band-none. I threw them away as they were unusable.
The second brief had none of the problems. It hand washed fine in the same washing powder and, when dried, was perfectly fine.

Decent BUT waist is ~1” longer
Nice overall. Fabric is comfy, appears to be well made. OTOH, waist band is slippery compared to the last time I purchased these…which might not be a problem except they added nearly a full inch of elastic to the waist compared to the previous model. So they don’t sit in my waist well and keep falling down or pants slip off of them with that slippery new fabric. Bummed that they didn’t mention it. Not sure if I’ll try the next size down or just suck it up on the $100 inches I already spent.

1.0 star for 2.0 Briefs
Ordered 3 pair but had to return. The 2.0s appear to be an inch plus “taller” than my old favorites (1.0? Flyless briefs?). My opinion, but they seem like a tighty whitey fit. More than one review on the Everyday briefs mentions stretchy fabric and loose fit so I don’t think those are a good option for me. I’ll keep watching for future styles, love the briefs I already own.

Waistband not up to par
Same fine mesh fabric from versions from 10 years ago that I still wear. Waistband is below par as others have mentioned.

Bring back the old style
Sizing is way off compared to previous years. Extremely large and material isn't the same. Very thin.

Choice performance underwear
Was worried that my husband wouldn’t like the new(er) design, but he thinks they are great! The go-to underwear for all of our active pursuits.

Brief Recommendation
I hate spending money on my clothes. Always bought packs of underwear at Costco. But I am capable of change, it turns out. After my first try a couple of years ago, I now have purchased weeks of this Exoffico underwear. Love it: feels great, wears well. Highly recommended.

I have worn Exofficio briefs on a daily basis for several years. They are still the best underwear I have found anywhere in the world.

Worked as advertised!
So I bought one pair of these to try out. I wore them all over the world, did multiple day tests while washing them out in hotel sinks and letting them dry, washed them lots and concluded they are a great pair of underwear. So good I threw out my old stuff and bought 10 pairs! Oh...not smelly either!!

Cool and confortavle
I tried these for summer wear in the desert. I wear the boxer briefs mostly, but this brief is much cooler and every bit as good as the Give-n-Go boxer briefs that I love.

Comfortable but pricey
These are quite comfortable and easy to wash and dry when traveling. They specify cold wash and line drying which is not convenient for day to day washing at home mixed with regular laundry. Over time I found the waistbands can begin to stretch out and become too loose. Buying them on sale helps cushion the exceedingly high price.

My husband’s favorite!!
I recently purchased several of these in different colors for my husband and they are his absolute favorite. He never wants to wear anything else again. I asked him why and he said. “They are SO comfortable.” He’s 6’2 and 250 lbs and wears an XL in these. I hopes this helps.

Briefly.....
Been using these briefs since 2006. Great fit and comfort for every day use, travel, hiking, workouts (not biking). 35 waist, but always get XL rather than L. I wash cold, delicate and hang dry. They last for years.
