Description
When the bugs are biting and the sun is beating down, cover up with the BugsAway® Baja Cape Hat. The semicurved bill shields your eyes from the sun, while the back cape provides extended coverage over your neck. An adjustable cinch provides a better fit, and an adjustable chinstrap keeps the back cape firmly in place, even in windy conditions. Built-in UPF 50 shields your skin from dangerous UV rays. Travel Hat
Kind of alway felt like Laurence of Arabia wearing this hat . Riding on Camels in the desert to on a faluca on the Nile . Wind won’t blow it away . Protects from the sun . Love it .

Great for shading neck
Works as it should and keeps bugs off your head and neck. Also good shade for your neck but not so flattering and fabric is floppy.

Good for bugs & wind
Well-designed cap with quality materials - looks a little lumpy & goofy with cape stored but well worth the functionality, especially the chin cord, which is fantastic in high-wind situations (no losing the cap off a boat or ridge)

Too small
Warning. This hat is a small size to perhaps a little smaller than a medium. It has a way to shrink the hat size, but it seems unneccessary since it starts off small. I could not even put it on my head and I typically wear somewhere between a medium to large. Dont bother buying unless you wear a size small. Too bad because it is well made and exactly what I wanted,

Hiker 1: Mosquitoes: ZERO!!!!
We have had to avoid or suffer through our favorite biking and hiking trail for far too long. Then, I bought us both one of these. GAMECHANGER. These babies are a must if you are off to the Amazon (which we WERE), riding your bike through marshes, or trying to garden in the sun or at dusk when those nasty flesheaters come to feast on you. We decided to stop suffering. Life is too short.

Yes, It looks weird. BUT the darn thing works! It also washes well, dries fast and mashes up inside your purse, pocket or pack.. Keeps the sun and creepy crawlies off.
Works with my sun shades.
The only thing I would change is the color of the under-brim of the hat. I like black under a hat's brim to cut glare;

Great Fishing Hat.
Hands down this is my favorite fishing hat. I love it when the cape is stored on the back inside of the hat that the chin strap can be tightened on the back of the hat to tighten the hat onto my head. This is great for when we move the fishing boat to another location the wind does not blow it off my head.
