When the temps—and the sun—rise, built-in UPF 30 shields your skin from harmful UV rays, side mesh panels enhance breathability, and the sleeves roll up and secure with tabs. Stow small fishing gear in the two zippered chest pockets. Reeling one in? The pleated center back increases your range of movement and won't get in the way.

Made for fat people
Fits me like a poncho. Perhaps I’m not shaped like a “typical American”, I’m somewhat fit and short but the excess cloth around the waist, as if I ought to have a massive potbelly, is just excessive…wish they had a slim-fit or “athletic cut” version. Aside from that, the places where there are pockets are opaque while the rest is somewhat transparent, makes it look a little weird. This oversized white shirt makes me feel like a drug dealer. Very Good material and I’ll still take it trekking thru Nepal but only because I don’t care what I look like and while I don’t love it like I do their other products, it’ll do.

All day comfort!
I’ve tried several “fishing” style shirts and they all get itchy an uncomfortable after a few hours in the salty sun. The Reef Runner puts them all to shame. All day comfort no matter the temp or humidity. The mesh/vented sleeves and sides allow for great air flow to keep you cool all day long!

Cool as a Moose
I have owned reef runner shirts for the last 6 or so years. The current model is the best yet . Why.. the collar is a basic collar no buttons or extra flaps, just like a tailored dress shirt. And as far as flaps, no unsightly back flap, again the tailored look. The pockets are perfect and the glass loop is very handy. Material and fit excellent. I have a 46” chest and the Large is perfect. I bought 3 and wore them on my last trip to Bangladesh... great for travel and business meetings . The mesh strips work......cool as a moose.

Fabric change disappointing
If you happen to be one who has purchased this shirt in past years (sage color, perhaps?) and really loves it, I’m afraid you may be disappointed with the new “model”. Whereas the fabric used to be almost magically soft and comfortable in hot weather, the new fabric feels “sticky” on the skin. Otherwise the shirt seems unchanged in design and sizing. I returned mine due to comfort issues. For some people the new fabric may be just fine, and may be even quicker drying but for me, comfort PLUS quick dry we’re the selling points.
