Short lasting
Love the light weight breathing design but problems with zipper and sleeve alicyclic detaching. Bought this jacket twice and has same problem.

MN Mosquitos Fear Me Now!
A sunset on a Minnesota lake or shoreline is my nirvana. This tranquility can quickly be spoiled by the hoards of voracious, bird-sized mosquitos that appear within seconds after the sun slips below the horizon. Not a problem for me since I started buying every BugsAway product I can find. The jacket is durable, comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, completely mosquito-proof. It’s shocking how effective it is against the little devils. The repellency has also survived several washings which I honestly did not expect. Love this product!

Doesn’t keep the bugs away
It’s a nice lightweight jacket but it doesn’t keep the bugs away. The mosquitos land directly on the jacket and try to drill in, just like they do on regular garments.

Hi there, Bug-blocking Insect Shield&reg; treatment gives you the invisible, odorless protection of Permethrin and lasts up to 70 washes. After that time, the repellency cannot be restored as Permethrin is tightly bound to fabric fibers. This creates the built-in BugsAway effect without the use of topical treatments like bug spray and other insect repellents. We suggest using some topical treatments after 70 washes to get protection against bugs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
