Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for travel My husband was reluctant to buy safari type of pants because he thinks they really look sloppy. I talked him into trying these and now he doesn't want to take them off. The material is soft and the style is so comfortable especially the elastic waistband. He wanted a pair in every color!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Golf I hate pants. At 45 degrees shorts are a little too cool for the golf course. Nomad pants are the closest thing I have found to wearing shorts. No binding, don't feel dragged down with a bunch of material, and they repel casual water easily. I am not constantly pulling my pants up where they belong. Due to the light weight and a reasonable belt they stay where they belong so I can concentrate on whacking my golf ball out of the rough where I seem to spend most of my time. And best of all they look really good too. Seriously!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The New Style - A Mess Ex Officio generally has excellent products. I have worn the Nomad pant for years, purchasing a dozen or so, for both travel and casual wear - used to be a great design. Now they changed styles - best to avoid for the following reasons: 1) rise is cut shorter; (2) phone drop in pocket on right leg made awkward size; (3) no longer a zipper pocket on right leg; (4) silly pocket on left leg; and (5) front pocket stitching a ridiculous curvi-linear pattern. This is unfortunate - to find a well designed product totally ruined. Hopefully Ex Officio will go back to the original design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No pocket! I really like these pants but the side zipper pocket is not there!!! I had to make a return for a different size and what I received back must have been an earlier model. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far superior to competition 1st. pair in 1997. Because product is hard to find retail have tried North Face, Columbia & Field & Stream. Exofficio has maintained quality & features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the 3rd pair I bought. Great for the summer and for travel. I like the relaxed fit. I also own 3 pair of Nomad shorts. BUT... I bought the new color TOUGH. The color is not close to the actual color on the web page. The color is a greenish brown, The color goes with almost nothing that I currently own. If Exofficio can make the shorts in black why not make the pants in black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nomad no problem My favorite pair of travel pants for warm to hot climates. Wore them all over Java in 2013 for two weeks. I will probably buy another pair. Sliding through volcanic scoria down the side of Anak Krakatau took its toll on the seat and sulfuric acid fumes also spotted the color.
