Fit my physique really well.
Best I have found for me. I have large muscular thighs and butt. getting the length and the width, the overall fit right hasn't been easy. Very "supportive" as well.

Fabric Pills
I found the material of bad quality. The underwear was full of fabric pills right after the first wash. I expected much better quality as they were not cheap, with that said I don't plan to buy from ExOfficio again.

Ultra comfy and non-smelly!
I love these. I have some pairs that have lasted for years and are still going strong. They are smooth and comfortable, dry quickly, and, VERY IMPORTANTLY, they DON'T get smelly like most cheaper polyester underwear that smell incredibly bad within just a few minutes of getting sweaty (for example, Adidas). Because these Ex Oficio underwear don't get smelly when I sweat, I can actually wear them for more occasions than simply going to the gym (what a concept!!). I wear them to work every day. I am so thankful for this 9-inch length, because they don't ride up, and any shorter boxer briefs (of any brand) do ride up endlessly. Please please please keep making these with this same high-quality, non-smelly fabric, and in the 9-inch length! If you keep making them, I will buy them for life.

Best Men's Underwear ON EARTH!
I own 16 pairs of these. It's the only underwear I own now. I replaced all my other pairs of underwear with these. THEY'RE THAT GOOD!!! In 2003, I was headed to Switzerland to hike the Swiss Alps. I did a lot of mountain trail running to condition myself for it, but was finding that, after a run or even just a few minutes into one, my big, muscular thighs were rubbing against each other and my inner thighs were getting a bad rash very quickly that prevented me from being able to train for days until the rash cleared up. What if I got all the way to Switzerland, I thought, and find minutes into my first hike that I had to quit because my inner thighs were getting rubbed raw! So I made it my MISSION to find the perfect underwear to protect my inner thighs. Literally $1000 SPENT, a purchase cache of 30 DIFFERENT BRANDS and HOURS OF RUNNING AND TRAIL TESTING later, I found the EXOFFICIO MEN'S GIVE-N-GO 2.0 SPORT MESH 9" BOXER BRIEF. Not only is it CRAZY comfortable, but it COMPLETELY PROTECTS your inner thighs! NO RASH!!! Rash is a thing of the PAST, baby!! PLUS, I can fly to Switzerland with only TWO PAIRS of these: the one I'm wearing for the plane (and for hotel, restaurants, sightseeing), and an alternate pair for the hiking. Just wash your pair at the end of the day with a little soap in the sink, then hang it up in the hotel bathroom (or your campsite), and WITHIN A FEW HOURS (depending on surrounding humidity), it'll be fresh and dry and ready to wear! The fabric is AMAZING. Plus, THEY LOOK GREAT! And they're SO comfortable just to hang out in. In fact, I'm wearing just a pair of these and a workout tank as I type this (as I do most of the time I'm hanging out alone at home). My brother, who visits my house often, said this after I mentioned these were just my underwear. "Oh," my brother said. I just thought they were workout shorts." They're THAT good-looking! Seriously, to the dude who is reading this: Replace every pair of underwear in your possession with these. They are THAT AMAZING. You can thank me later. Oh, and one more thing: They feel AWESOME under dress slacks. (Try 'em! AMAZING, right?!? Just sayin'! ;-)

Not as good as they used to be
I first purchased the 9” give-no-go boxer briefs back in 2017 when they were known for being ultra breathable, and even odor resistant - I remember going with them because of the reviews I read/listened to from backpackers that suggested a single pair could be worn for multiple days without odor buildup. The 5 pairs I ordered in 2017 lived up to that reputation. They’re fantastic - while I don’t wear them multiple days in a row, I know that I could, even during hard working days, without having to worry about odor buildup. They remain very breathable to this day. I decided recently (late 2024) to order more and wear them exclusively, and immediately recognized that the material is different. After wearing daily for a week, I’ve noticed they’re not even close to as breathable as my older pairs, and after a day of work I know that these newer pairs could not be worn multiple days in a row while preventing odor buildup - likely boils down to a lack of breathability compared to the older models. Can’t say I recommend the newer version. I wish they’d switch back to the older ones.

A formerly great underwear
Over the years since their introduction I’ve probably bought atleast 15 pairs of these. They have been for me years my go to, old reliable workhorse. Comfortable, well designed and durable. But now I have come to the reluctant conclusion that they have gone the way of many great outdoor brands. Submitting to utter profit seeking and declining quality.
A pair of these that formerly would last 4 years of heavy use barley makes it to two. Stitching fails and comes unraveled within the first few wears. The material pills instantly. The waist band stretches prematurely. The fabric wears threw and forms holes. I still have pairs from the old days to compare, and its quite stark how many corners this company has started to cut. The formely breathable yet durable material has been replaced with thinner, and in every way inferior fabric. Especially in the crotch area, which used to be indestructible and yet the best fenting boxers on the market. Not anymore. This company simply
no longer cares about offering a good product. Only a cheap to make brand name that they can still charge rip-off level prices for.
I just purchased my last pair of these. As its gotten to the point where exofficio underwear is now decidedly inferior to it’s competitors. Oh well. The way things are going this company will likeley be out of business soon anyway.
Good riddance. If you are looking for a comfortable, well made pair of underwear, go elsewhere.

Best ever!
I read a lot of reviews on these before I bought them. I also kept seeing a ton of people wore them hiking so I pulled the trigger to try them. Let me tell you, these are by far the most comfortable, quick wicking pair of underwear I’ve ever worn. Definitely worth the price. Going to order two more pair.

Solid all around boxer
I got tired of my boxers riding up and realized it was time to invest is some nicer underwear. These caught my eye as they have less elastane than most other brands and one of the few that offer a 9 in inseam. They fit great, dry quickly, resist odor well, and don't ride up. Plan to get more as I need.

I have always worn large in everything else but the size guide was correct, they fit small and I needed an XL much to my surprise. They are very comfortable, dry quickly whenn washed. Pricey, but worth it.
