Seattle-Based Manufacturer Boycotts Christmas Party to Support Local Non-Profit Causes.

Tukwila, WA -- ExOfficio, a Seattle-based adventure apparel outfitter, is collecting donations for Northwest Harvest and forgoing their holiday party this year to spend time as a team sorting goods at their local Northwest Harvest location.

ExOfficio has nurtured their relationship with Northwest Food Harvest through six years of service and contribution.

"Giving back to our community by working with Northwest Harvest has become a tradition for us and part of our culture," said Bill Swan, Director of Operations and Administration, ExOfficio. "We are really excited about this year's volunteer effort and are looking forward to our future work with Northwest Harvest."

Who: ExOfficio -- a Puget Sound based manufacturer and retailer of performance outdoor and travel apparel.

What and Why: Instead of their annual holiday party, ExOfficio is planning to help Northwest Harvest's Food Drive efforts. The entire corporate staff will donate a full afternoon on December 18th to help Northwest Harvest sort and pack food items for Seattle areas needy.

Visuals and Interview Opportunity: Please know, Steve Bendzak, ExOfficio General Manager, will be at Northwest Harvest helping out with the food drive and will be available to interview.

There will be ample opportunity for footage at the Northwest Harvest Warehouse to show some alternative ways individuals and other local corporations can give back and get involved locally throughout the holidays.
