Medical Teams International's first disaster relief team already arrived in Haiti on Friday, January 15. They started treating the most needy patients for injuries and illnesses such as diarrhea and pneumonia. Those with the most severe injuries will be transferred to a hospital. World Concern is on the front lines of this disaster, equipped to bring relief to those who have lost it all, supplying them with clean water, food, bedding and shelter from the weather. ExOfficio employees sort through customer returns, overstock and unsold inventory to supply World Concern with clothing for Haiti earthquake victims.
Altogether, ExOfficio donated nine pallets or an estimated $429,000 worth of product. Four pallets will be immediately shipped to Haiti, along with food, water, and medical supplies. The other pallets will shortly follow.
